Amazingly enchanting
Katarina_L, Aug 2022
We had a beautiful time on our trip, the instructors Michael, Ashley, and Rafael were really friendly and helpful! We really enjoyed giving rafael as many questions as possible. The bioluminescent was truly magical. Highly recommend.
A great adventure!!

What a cool experience! Kayaking in the dark and getting to see nature’s beauty was just awesome! The stars were out, the bio bay was superb!
Fun

It Was Fun ! A must do, which they would keep groups smaller since its very dark and many inexperienced people seems a little unsafe
Only go if you are a good experience of kayaking. not good for first timers.

Yes, we were mistaken and booked the trip on full moon light. But it was not publicised in a way, that people can understand what it involves. This place Fajardo is miles away from anywhere. so if you have a car or if you are with a travel company that is ok, we ended up paying $250.00 to go there and the driver had to wait to bring us back secondly this company was advertised by Viator, when we reached there there are at least 10 other companies, running the same kind of tour.. so you don't know who you are going with. they dismissed Viator as a THIRD PARTY and did not acknowledged or honoured our time slot. which was 8pm, they had called us by 7.30 we were there by 7 Pm. they did not let us go on the group which was going , they made us wait uptill 8.45. there instruction was bad. It was a horrible experience to sum it up. only grace were the young kayak helpers, who towed us .
Paddling at night was excellent

The company staff are very enjoyable. They are devoted to sharing this fun experience. Much of the experience is the paddling in the dark, through the mangrove forest. The unique bioluminescent plankton are a wonder of nature and that is a subtle experience. It has to be appreciated as that. It is not a man made a 4rth of July or Star Wars explosion. Just like life, it is also about the journey and the people that you are with, not just the destination. We really enjoyed the guide’s enthusiasm and the paddling in the dark.
Unforgettable
Elyse_O, Apr 2022
We had such a good time with our tour guides specifically Emily and Ashley!! And getting to see the bioluminescence was incredible!! The team also went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and had fun. From the bottom of my heart thank you!
Too many kayakers/tour groups
Claire_P, Apr 2022
While this tour company and its employees did a fine job themselves, I did not find this to be an enjoyable experience. Each of the tour guides were incredibly friendly, energetic, and knowledgable, however the problem is that the entire bioluminescent bay tour as an industry is completely oversaturated. There should be a stricter cap on the number of operational tour companies at a given bioluminescent bay location, as well as a limit on the number of kayakers that can be out there at a time. There was an outrageous number of people going through the mangroves at the same time from various companies/tour groups that it was a complete traffic jam on the water in the pitch black dark of night. It was like playing bumper cars with kayaks. Then, when you actually make it out to the lake the bioluminescence was pretty underwhelming. Sure, you saw a dimly lit milky-white cloud if you shook your hand in the water, but its nothing like the electric bright blue you see advertised some places. Honestly, I think I would have enjoyed this tour much more if we had done it during the day when you can actually see the mangroves- I think I would have found them to be more impressive than the bioluminescence. But none of it will be worth it until they lesson the amount of kayakers allowed out there at a time.
Great kayaking trip!

Everything was perfect - from check in to the instructions, to the safety briefing, to the cool paddle through the mangrove canal, and the excellent guides on the peaceful bioluminescent bay! Thank you!
Kayaking through was...
Michael_C, Apr 2022
Kayaking through was fantastic. The moonlight was to strong to see the bioluminescences, but the tour guides brought tarps. Once under the tarp you could totally see them like glitter in the water. Penil's guises where amazing.
Highly recommend - excellent team and your!

Great experience! Would highly recommend this company and this tour! Pedro was amazingly helpful in guiding us when we had difficulty navigating the mangrove canal. The entire crew was professional, experienced, and made sure everyone was safe but also having a ton of fun!
Perfect Tour for my honeymoon 🥰🥰
Clarissa_B, Apr 2022
Raphael, Michael and Pedro were amazing! They guided us through this tunnel of wildlife and trees very well (I was a bit freaked out about it being so dark, but we made it through!) Seeing and learning about the fish made for a great experience! I will definitely recommend this specific tour to all of my friends and family. :)
Bioluminescence kayaking 😊🇵🇷
Stacy_B, Apr 2022
The whole trip was fun at first I was a little nervous starting out into the dark the tour guides, Ashley,AJ,Micheal to name a few where great. They kept you moving and seeing the bay light up was amazing.
Highly recommend!
Amanda_S, Mar 2022
Very organized, lovely staff, a great experience! Went w our family of five and it was super convenient that we could do both one- and two-person kayaks.
Not worth the money or the time
Alexandra_T, Mar 2022
If you’ve ever kayaked before, you’ll be very frustrated with other people’s inability to kayak… the bioluminescence look nothing like the pictures you see online. Those are all photoshopped. Really not worth it at all

Great Tour
Sara_Z, Mar 2022
The kayak tour was great! I really liked how they brought tents out when we got onto the bay so we could really see the bioluminescence.
Thumbs up!!
Sunil_D, Feb 2022
Awesome night trip through mangrove tunnels and more. Kids were thrilled. Bioluminescene is 10% of value, rest os the kayaking in the dark!
Staff were engaging,...
Haley_G, Feb 2022
Staff were engaging, knowledgeable, and friendly. The night we went, light pollution made it hard to appreciate the bioluminescence without using a tarp, but it was still a unique experience. As a group of 3, one double and one single kayak were provided. Lots of other kayak traffic and outfitters doing tours with larger group sizes. Probably wouldn't go again, but I'd recommend to do as a first-time experience!
A dub

Extremely disappointed that it wasn’t cancelled due to it being a full moon. We were unable to see the glow. Came all the way to Puerto for this very excursion for us not to have the experience. I do understand we can control Mother Nature. Just extremely disappointed.
