When you arrive, head into the waiting area where you can buy a drink to buy on board; beer wine and soft drinks are available.

Once you get in your luxurious, climate-controlled pod, sit back as you ascend into the sky. Survey the desert landscape as it shimmers day and night with neon lights and reflective buildings. During your ride, an amusing audio tour covers the history of Las Vegas, perfectly timed to point out the area's landmarks as they appear during the rotation.

After you disembark, the adventure doesn't have to be over. The High Roller puts you in the center of Las Vegas' LINQ, a lively promenade featuring bars, shops and restaurants. The High Roller has quickly become a must for any visitor to Vegas. Step aboard the world’s tallest observation wheel at 550ft tall and 520ft in diameter. Before getting on, make a pit stop at the bar and purchase a beverage to take onto the High Roller. Drink in hand, hop in your pod for a ride above the neon-lit landscape. Learn about the history of Las Vegas and some of the city’s landmarks (only here will you find pyramids next to the Eiffel Tower) from a witty narrator, whose voice is piped into the pod. My mother (who is in a wheelchair) and I rode this on July 4th, just in time for the fireworks display. It was magnificent! We expected to see the display put on by the major hotel/casinos but saw many displays all across the valley as well. The staff was amazing in getting us to the ride and onto the pod. It was a great experience.

We got views of Las Vegas that we could not have got any other way. Superb experience but a bit tricky getting on and off a moving pod. Just be aware of that if anyone in your group is at all unsteady on their feet. I recommen going in the dark.
