Nice guide. Nice clean well maintained car. AC. Helped everything go smoothly. We saw a lot in a small amount of time.
Great monument, rubbish guide
Jamie_P, Jul 2022
I’ve been to the pyramids 4 times and this was the worst tour I’ve ever done. The driver was the best piece about the trip. The guide was half asleep and useless. The pyramids continue to be incredible to go and see, but you’d be better going by yourself.

Nice experience, polite and professional driver and guide. if you are going in summer plan for evening, its too hot there. Search in the app for more packages no need to hurry there are plenty of options available. Only negative experience was We payed for including camel ride, but guide asked us to pay tip for camel guy.
Excellent!

The tour was amazing. We got the tour Gide Mary and she did a fantastic job. Already the pick up was smooth and during the tour She gave us a lot of information and patiently took many pictures of us. Also her driver Islam, he was very Kind and and took as safely to all the places. I would 100% recommend this tour :)

Dream come true.
Shirley_E, Jun 2022
When we booked we thought it might be a bit 'cheesy' and was a little concerned about the use of the camels for this purpose. However, to ride on a camel with the pyramids behind was such an amazing experience. The camels all seemed well looked after and our guide and driver were amazing...especdially at knowing where to take great photos from. Very informative guide and highly recommend this tour.
Worst experience ever
Lyndon_F, Jun 2022
You never picked us up or took us anywhere Despite my efforts to text call and what’s app promising to rebook the tour tomorrow It’s the worst experience I have ever had despite having good experiences in the past so disappointing I had better get my money back or at the very least rebook the trip

Best personal tour
Willy_L, Jun 2022
Nour Nagy (guide) & hossam (driver) are the best. They are experienced and know how to navigate the route efficiently. Nour gives good advice how to handle aggressive vendors. Ask for them and you can't go wrong.
Do Your Research!

I’m going to give this your two ratings - Actual Pyramid/Camel/Lunch Tour: 3 Stars - Overall Experience: 1 star We were picked up by our guide which, surprisingly was the same guide my partner and I had for our Museum tour, Emeel. Make sure you get a guide. There’s two ticket lines For pyramids (general lines and one for tour guides). Emeel got our tickets quickly since the line was empty so that was helpful! We went to the pyramids and Emeel shared all the great history while we were in front of the pyramids. Then we walked up to the entrance of the great pyramid. This is where things started going downhill for the day. Emeel informed us that we couldn’t actually go inside the pyramid because our tickets didn’t include that option and we’d have to pay extra. I didn’t even know we could even touch the bricks of the pyramids so I surely wasn’t aware that we could go INSIDE the great pyramid. We asked Emeel about it and he didn’t seem like he wanted to do that. My partner and I decided to just skip going inside since it was such a long walk back to the ticket booth. I should’ve done more research on the pyramids beforehand but the tour agency could’ve stated that is an option for people like me who have no clue you can go inside the pyramid! We felt rushed by Emeel as we walked around the pyramids and was missing photo ops. We headed to the panoramic for the best view of all 3 pyramids and Emeel took photos that didn’t turn out great and was aggressive with how he wanted us to pose. By that time my partner and I were just ready to go back to hotel. Same instances at the sphinx. For lunch Emeel stated we were having falafel and my partner asked for Pizza Hut instead since we had so much Egyptian food already. Emeel kept asking if we wanted falafel and my partner had to repeatedly say no! Pizza was good but we had to pay out of pocket for some (guess it was above the covered dollar amount?). After lunch Emeel took us to a shop that could write our name in hieroglyphics on necklaces and bracelets. I customized a necklace and they said it would take 10 minutes. It took at least 30. Emeel rushed us out afterwards and I didn’t have a chance to ensure it was correct. Sure enough, the merchant spelled my name wrong. Emeel went back in and had them redo it. It was still spelled incorrectly. Emeel then tried to tell me sometimes they switch the order of letters because of limited space and had other excuses that didn’t seem legit as if he just wanted me to take it so he wouldn’t have to bother with the situation any longer. I told him I didn’t want it and to take it back. On the ride to the hotel, Emeel constantly tried to convince me to take it. it took great effort for me to remain calm and respectful because I was so angry and frustrated. I eventually said I want my money back. After that, he kept trying to make me take it and then called the merchant. Emeel also called his boss. When we got to the gate at the hotel I asked him how do I get my refund and he said his boss said I will not get a refund. I told him that I would dispute the charge with my credit card company and get my money back. After that, he walked us into the hotel lobby and continued to try convincing me to get the necklace remade. I constantly told him no, I just want my money back. Eventually I caved and told him he could go back to the merchant & make a new customized necklace that spells my name correctly. He brought it back to the hotel before my flight and it was spelled perfectly so after a stressful argument, it ended well. I will say, he really is a nice guy and is truly passionate about Egyptian culture but he needs to learn how to accept no for an answer and respect his clients’ preferences and stop taking people to places they didn’t ask to visit. Do not force people to do something they don’t want to do. Also, make the historical facts more digestible. Spewing 10-15 minutes worth of history without a break to ask questions or soak in the architecture and the overall experience is exhausting. Because of this, our last day in Egypt and African adventure (15 days) was completely wasted and ruined. What should have been a 2-2.5 hour tour took 6 hours. My partner and I missed our dinner reservation and we were rushing to get packed before our flight that night and get our COVID tests done. This was NOT how I wanted to end my vacation. Tired and stressed. We were supposed to have been relaxing and enjoying our last day at the pool after a quick pyramid tour and we were deprived of that chance. I was haggled enough by merchants my entire time in Egypt. I shouldn’t have had to haggle and debate with my tour guide. They’re supposed to be there to make our experience safe, fun, and stress free. Unfortunately that was not the case. Do your research on the tour company and what they offer beforehand because they’ll force you to go to shops that they partner with.

Rip off - payed but not get a tour
Anika_Z, May 2022
Even 1/5 ist to much for this rip off! We waited as agreed at the hotel for pick up but nobody came and the viator hotline was not reachable at any time! And nobody tried to contact us! After 5! days we even get no kind of reaction to my attached mail. Looks like a big swindle! Better book with other providers to not get ripped off.

Giza pyramids tour

Ahmed was so knowledgeable about Egypt and made our trip very fun and interactive. He helped us get the most out of our limited time in Cairo Thank you very much!
Not worthy and quite unprofessional
Alberto_M, May 2022
Visit to the pyramids was ok, but in general the tour was poorly professional. To start with our driver took one of the main road into oncoming traffic and then did a quite risky U-turn with a bus coming toward us. Then we asked to visit the inside of the main pyramid, the guide bought the ticket but when we arrived at the entrance the pyramid gate was closed for one hour, we guess for lunch break, and the guide was not aware and suggest to wait there (half an hour with more than 30 degrees). We had to suggest her to move to the next pyramid and come back later. After 2h30 we were tired and wanted to have a break (we booked for 5h tour) suggesting maybe was the good time for lunch, but apparently this was not possible and we were offered the next activity which was the camel trip. This lasted no more than 10 minutes and was just a photo op. That at this point was ok for us because we were really tired and not able to enjoy it. Finally we left Giza complex at 3pm and stop by our lunch which was a drum kebab on the way to be eaten in the car. At this point we asked to go back to our hotel. We were offered a visit to a essential oil shop and papyrus museum (or something similar) before lunch, but we were really not interested in this at that time, and was not what we booked the guided tour for. We would have preferred to have a more relaxed visit of pyramids and a pleasant, even if light, lunch.

Wonder worth visiting with Guide

Yasar was a really knowledgeable and great guide. Was helpful and welcoming. He had more than a guide talent and taken some brilliant pictures for us. Thanks

Meh
Laura_R, May 2022
The tour guide was super nice and we liked her a lot. I do wish there was more structure/history included throughout the tour. I feel like she was accompanying us, rather than guiding us. We were very confused by the perfume shop piece. Small light lunch was falafel in the car on the way back to the hotel. Again, not a bad tour (especially for the price) and super nice guide, just not what we were expecting of an “Egyptologist.”
