What To Expect

Begin with hotel pickup in Phuket, and travel to the marina. Meet your guide and board a speedboat for your cruise to the Phi Phi Islands, a chain of six exquisite islands in the Andaman Sea.

Admire the views along the way and marvel at the sight of the beautiful islands rearing like fortresses from the turquoise seas.

Head first to Maya Bay, a location made famous from the 2000 movie, "The Beach," starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Then, continue to Pileh Lagoon, a natural lagoon framed by sheer cliffs, renowned for its pristine jade-green waters.

Next, pass by Viking Cave, home to the islands’ swallow bird nests and nearby, enjoy open sea snorkeling to discover the stunning underwater diversity of exotic fishes and coral reefs.

Go ashore at Phi Phi Leh to savor a buffet lunch just steps away from the beach. Then, set sail for Bamboo Island. Enjoy free time to snorkel, swim, and sunbathe on the soft, white-sand beaches, before cruising along the sea to get close-up views of the scampering monkeys along the cliffs and trees at Monkey Beach.

Amazing fun

One of our most memorable experiences during our two weeks in Thailand- all staff were very accommodating the entire trip and took us to some of the most beautiful spots in the entire country- snorkeling was an absolute must! Mr. Yellow happily took photos of our party and made the trip so much better for us. Our tour guide ray was absolutely a blast to learn from.

This trip organised by V Marine Tour is by far one of the best coordinated tours I’ve come across and we’ll priced, with the amount you get out of it and time spent you get a good mix and feel of the experience. Had a fantastic day with our guide, Ray. Had 2 snorkelling stops (1 hr each), stopped at Phi Phi Holiday Resort for lunch and a few other sight seeing spots along the way. Staff were very kind and would offer refreshments (water, drinks, fruit and snacks) throughout the day. The whole day was extremely well organised. I booked the tour quite late the night before, but they still arranged for a taxi to drive us to and from the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful area with swimming and snorkelling. Our guide was fantastic and sweet and had great information about each location. Grateful for the sea sick pills that were provided as it was a choppy ride back to Phuket due to weather. We had snacks, pop and water available to us all day and lunch was good. An adventure to remember!

Had absolutely fun on this trip, the lovely tour guide - Goodies was so gracious and fun lovin who made the whole day such an adventure with his sense of humour and warmth . Also the rest of the crew on the boat along with captain were at their absolute best and quite warm and friendly helped us around with everythin we needed . Timely refreshments and food and beverages . The boat was kept so clean at all times Also had the best co tourists on this boat so well mannered and kind . Can’t sum up the whole day in one review but looking forward to come back again . If the weather is at its best you would surely enjoy this trip . It’s advisable to cancel before hand if the weather doesn’t permit as the sea can get really rough and it’s a nightmare . Not to forget the best photographer we got who would come lookin for us and suggest how to pose and wa squire patient - Yellow the best man. Just forgot to tip him at the end .. quite the regret as it started raining heavily at the end of the trip and our coach moved. Would love to go back again for this trip. Marine tours are the best ! We had the most amazing experience! Our guide, Perry, was absolutely wonderful. He was very knowledgeable, funny, and helpful. Every crew member on the boat was friendly and helpful. Our photographer, Yellow, was the absolute best. He took pictures throughout the day without us having to ask him. The views are amazing. It rained for part of the day but the crew from our boat went above and beyond to make sure this didn’t ruin our experience. Overall, wonderful views, great food, and excellent staff. We will do this again on our next visit to Thailand.

Superb snorkelling, swimming and scenery

Loved snorkelling off Phi Phi island in the clear turquoise waters. Saw lots of tropical fish, giant clams and even a moray eel. The crew were fantastic, detailed explanations of where we were going. Swimming off the boat in Maya Lagoon was amazing, one of the most beautiful places in the world!

Extremely well organised by the V Marine Company. Excellent trained crew, each boat had multiple crew members which makes you feel in safe hands; they cover the main spots; Food at resort was a buffet (choice of poultry, fish, Veg, tea, coffee- tell them in advance if you have special dietary requirements as they seem happy to cater) and good quality. Beware, the speed boat ride could be quiet bumpy at times! A word also about VIATOR customer service - 5 STARS!! The booking experience was seamless, instant confirmation and bookings are genuine with good vendors. I had a bit of mix up with my booking (it was a genuine mistake at my end). I promptly reached out to the VIATOR customer service (Cynthia) via the chat service on VIATOR website. She dealt with my query on the spot and made the necessary amendment to the booking even when it was last minute. I was really impressed and made me feel even more confident about the entire set-up! Overall, highly satisfying experience with the V Marine company and VIATOR! Good work team!!!

"P" and his crew were amazing! After almost every stop, they offered drinks and snacks, seasickness pills before we started, and kept the boat dry and free of sand. These small thoughtful touches don't sound like much, bur made the experience so much better. The visits were well organized, spending a decent amount of time at each stop with an explanation of where we were and the cultural significance if any. Made for an awesome day!

Great crew, cramped boat

The stops and the boat crew are 5 stars. The boat however, is not. It’s cramped and the bench seating is super uncomfortable. Several people sat on the wet floor to try to get comfortable. It’s an hour each way, so the seats matter. I’d choose a larger boat next time.
