Gibbon Rehabilitation Project Tours and Tickets
The volunteer-run, not-for-profit Gibbon Rehabilitation Project in Phuket rescues gibbons (a type of ape) that have been poached and held in captivity (a serious problem in Phuket). The staff then rehabilitates them before safely reintroducing them to their natural habitats, when possible.

Waterfall Trail and Sea Canoe
Walk in the tropical rainforest within the National Park area, learn about many special species found only in Phuket & Phang Nga. Visit the gibbon rehabilitation centre, wake up to the animal exploitation in tourism industry. Emerge yourself in the local villager life, paddle a canoe along the mangrove forest. Lunch time in local style. Half day done, everyone have a lot of fun, learn many things, and back to hotel a bit more seasoned person.
8 AM - pick-up from hotel
9 AM - enter the National Park, start the trail
10 AM - finish the trail, visit Gibbon rehab center
11 AM - canoe time
11:30 AM - Thai lunch
12:30 PM - head back to hotel (arrival time depends on hotel location)
