Located on the Strip, the High Roller is hard to miss at a formidable 550 feet (167 meters) tall―beating out the London Eye as the biggest observation wheel in the world.

When you arrive, head for the boarding area; bring your ticket and your ID to prove that you're 21 or older.

Once you get in your luxurious climate-controlled pod, sit back as you ascend into the sky. Hit the full bar for unlimited drinks during your 30-minute ride. Survey the desert landscape as it shimmers day and night with neon lights and reflective buildings. During your ride, an amusing audio tour covers the history of Las Vegas, perfectly timed to point out the area's landmarks as they appear during the rotation.

After you disembark, the adventure doesn't have to be over. The High Roller puts you in the center of Las Vegas' LINQ, a lively promenade featuring bars, shops, and restaurants. Start by browsing the Sky Shop for some souvenirs of your time in the sky. Hungry? Hit Flour & Barley for some brick oven pizza, and follow it up with a cupcake (or two) at Sprinkles.

High Roller

There's happy hour on the Strip, and then there's happy hour above the Strip. Hop in an climate-controlled pod and enjoy access to a full bar for the entire 30-minute revolution. The only thing you have to bring besides your ticket? Proof that you're 21 years old or older. Drink in hand, admire the neon-lit landscape as a recording of a witty narrator shares trivia about the city’s landmarks (only here will you find pyramids next to the Eiffel Tower). After the ride, browse in the Sky Shop for a reminder of your spin through Sin City’s celestial skies in the form of commemorative glassware or a tiny version of the High Roller itself. Last ride departs at 11:30pm.

The observation wheel happens to be situated smack in the center of Las Vegas’ newest entertainment quarter, The LINQ. Great experience. If your spouse doesn’t like heights don’t do it. Mine sat in a corner and refused to look down or stand up the entire time. Drinks were free but it was only mixed drinks no shots. And if you have some type of disability with walking I don’t recommend because you have to hop on and hop off while the ride is moving. We were able to drink about 5 drinks each during the 30 minute ride which was perfect to then go and have some drinks on the strip.

Ordering through Viator made this process very difficult. The staff at the high roller didn’t like using these tickets and made me go through a line that toile longer then if I just bought the tickets there.

My experience on the High Roller happy hour was AMAZING! The bartender was hype and kept the party going! Drinks were great too, definitely a “must do” during your Las Vegas trip. The viator to high roller office process however was complicated. They said viator wasn’t a authorized seller. Waited for 30 mins for things to get sorted out. They said I was scammed out of my money through viator.

I booked through Viator and they gave us a hard time finding reservations an when they did it wasn’t what I purchased the sky high roller got it too ken care of because I had proof that I purchased open bar for 6 people everyone was irritated because of how long we was in line waiting over a hour it was bad I will never book through them again
