The Basics

Set sail across the Caribbean Sea on a speedboat or catamaran cruise to Saona Island to spend a day swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing at the island's beaches and lagoons. Full-day Saona Island tours run from Punta Cana, La Romana, Bayahibe Beach, and Santo Domingo, and often include visits to mainland sights such as Altos de Chavon. Alternatively, arrive in style on a private helicopter to enjoy spectacular views along the island's southern coast.

Melvin is so personable. He gives history of the Dominican Republic and the places you're visiting. Great places/beaches. Melvin makes the food and juices provided. He also ensures your safety and to avoid the crowds. The people that work with Melvin are wonderful as well. 100% recommend.

Full Day Saona Island Excursion Tour From Punta Cana
Best trip to the island with family and friends. The catamaran ride to the island was filled with music and fun. We really love the stop at the natural pool. Our tour guide JOSE TAVAREZ is the best. He took care of us and treated us like family. The bus driver was extremely careful and we all love that. The only thing is that we only spent 2 1/2 hours on the Island. Overall great experience.

Full Day Saona Island Excursion Tour From Punta Cana
It’s a long day! We got picked up at 7am and didn’t get back until 7pm, however it’s a fun excursion. The catamaran boat was filled with music and drinks and lunch at the island was great. If you have the time, this is a great excursion.

Wow where do I start!? This was the most memorable day for me and my family on our DR vacation. Lola and the crew on the magnificent Quetzal were fabulous! Kind, knowledgeable, so friendly, laid back, accommodating, I could go on and on! The food was spectacular, the itinerary was perfect, the catamaran was beautiful. And if you want to experience “true paradise”, then Saona Island is the place!! Memories made for a lifetime! Thank you Quetzal!
